About us:

„Die Winzerhalle“ is a service winery in Kitzingen / Franconia producing the whole range of quality wines, beginning with fruity and spicy Estate wines up to premium qualities. Our many different customers are winegrowers who deliver their grapes to us and it is our task to make wine appropriate to their ideas.
We vinificate white grape varieties such as Silvaner, Pinot blanc, Pinot gris, Riesling, Traminer, Bacchus and Müller-Thurgau and red ones like Domina, Blauer Zweigelt, Pinot noir and Portugieser.

The wine-growing area Franconia is located in the center of southern Germany between the cities of Bamberg, Würzburg and Aschaffenburg. With its beautiful and soft landscapes and picturesque steep vineyards in the valley of the river Main and lateral valleys our countryside and its wines are more than an inside tip!

About your job (accompanied by a vinery-employee):

• Preparation for the harvest
• Grapes: acceptance, processing and pressing
• Juice processing: clarification, pulp processing, inoculation, yeast nutrition etc.
weighing out / addition of fining agents to juice
• Fermentation process: juice enriching and monitoring of fermentation
• Wine: stabilization of the young wine
• Cleaning and hygiene
• Accompanying works

Period of time: 07.09.26 – 06.11.26
